Frequently Asked Questions
How long does restoration take?
Standard projects typically require two to four weeks. Complex reconstructions may require six to eight weeks. Express service is available for time-sensitive projects.
Can you work from scanned images?
For best results, we prefer to scan original photographs ourselves using calibrated archival equipment. However, we can work from high-quality scans if shipping originals is not feasible. Scans should be at least 600 DPI in TIFF format.
What if my photograph cannot be fully restored?
Some photographs have sustained damage beyond complete repair. We always provide honest assessments of what is achievable. If we cannot deliver satisfactory results, we refund your payment in full.
Do you work with organizations and archives?
Yes, we regularly work with historical societies, museums, libraries, and other institutions. We offer volume pricing and can accommodate large-scale digitization projects. Contact us to discuss your institutional needs.
